Anyway I just wanted to share that :)

About having a priest in my bed ...

  • Nov. 15th, 2009 at 8:34 PM
I fucking love you
My priest visited me today, which was an amazing thing. He brought me ice cream and stayed for 3 hours. I know that does not seem to be that much time but believe me when I say for us it is. Normally we are together for like 30 to 60 minutes and then he needs to go home or whereever. But not this time.
And he sat on my bed and I was in his arms and he didn't look afraid or anything. He even let me cuddle him and the weirdest thing ever: I started to play with his shirt, because for one moment I wasnt thinking and my hand kinda slipped underneath it and ... Nothing happened. He didn't even pull a face. It was so nice being with him.
He even fell asleep when I started to stroke his arm and I fell asleep for a moment too and that was really nice too.

I never thought I could feel that way with him. Never ever. Especially because - and I don't mean it the way it sounds - he has dark skin. I 'm the last person who you'd call racist but it was never the kind of thing that attracts me. Just like I'm not into blue eyes. Nevertheless now I think it's really awesome and fantastic. I love the way he's so much darker than I am and smells so different than everyone I've met before.
The blanket we were lying on before still smells like him and I feel happy every time I get near it. The moments are totally worth fighting for and remind me why I haven't given up on him before. When I was in his arms, my head restet on his chest, my hand in his, my world seemed so much brighter and for a few minutes I was certain everything is going to be okay.

I realised I'm starting to truely fall for him and it's so strange actually being in love again. Last time I felt something like it I started going out with Cam. It's not that I didn't like the guys I was with afterwards - though you can hardly call any of that a realtionship - but I wasn't in love with them. I just wanted to be close to someone and have a bit of fun. And now it happens with the last person I expected it to happen with ...

I realised I'm into foreign guys long ago because it's just obvious but I never thought it would turn that way. I am in love with a priest. Just think about it; it is totally hilarious. I don't think I could have gone for anything more difficult. Maybe I'm just into trouble. That would be a perfect explanation why I got myself into all these weird and hopeless situations ...

Anyway I think the best thing is not to think about it. So I'll go cuddle my blanket and think about the times when I'll be well and able to kiss my priest again.

[Nails] Purple with silver stripes

  • Nov. 10th, 2009 at 10:57 PM
i am who i am
I just finished doing my nails. God I missed that. During the holidays I cut my nails, because I was so stressed and otherwise I would have started to bite them. Cutting seemed the better option, at least my nails wouldn't suffer. I came to regret that decision a few days later, having NO nails. They have however grown quite a bit over the last two weeks and I decided they are able to be painted again. Not quite the real Kathi nails, but we're getting there. I tried a very simple design in purple and silver, which didn't turn out too bad given in shape my nails are in.
They kinda look blue on the pictures I've taken, which are a bit blurry. But I took them at like 23:00 and it was not that bright, so please forgive me. My nails are purple though. Very dark purple even. I see if I can get some good ones in the daylight tomorrow.

Writer's Block: Instant attraction

you call me dramatic like it's a bad thi

Do you think romantic chemistry is instant or evolving? Have you ever given someone a second (or third) chance and lived to regret it? Have you ever fallen in love with someone you didn't particularly like or desire at first?

View 1134 Answers

Being totally and madly in love with a hindu priest I have to say yes, I have fallen in love with someone I didn't particularly like or desire at first.
I could have never imagined it, and I'm still not sure how it happend and if it's a good thing but I am the prove that this kind of thing is possible.
It's really weird though, because you really start to like someone for the person they are and if it looks like it's not going to work out or you might not be wanted after all, it's really sad.

Halloween

  • Oct. 27th, 2009 at 2:13 PM
Shit happens mostly to me so don't worry
So I have been invited to two Halloween parties at the same time and both of them are going to be a lot of fun. Therefore I'll be attending both. Not quite sure how I'll do that, ut I will figure it out. Though I already decided I am not going to drink because it's just not intelligent. Drunk people are always so annoying and ridiculous that right now I'm refusing to be one of them myself. There are more important things in my life right now, one of them being a priest. God that's complicated. I seem to attract that kind of stuff.

If you could say anything you want to the person who has hurt you most in life, what would it be? Did you ever confront them? Why or why not?

1. It wasn't your fault. That's the way life goes and I'm alright.

2. You're the sickest person I have ever met in my life. I don't even feel anything when I think of you right now, because you're not even worth an emotion. If I could go back in time I'd sue you because now I realise it was not my fault.

So a guy played the piano for me today just because I said I liked it when someone does that. Isn't that nice?

Happy birthday, J.K. Rowling! Which of her seven Harry Potter novels do you think is the most satisfying read?

View 509 Answers

Well the first one is the most "magical one" because there everything is still new. Even the main character (Harry) is still fascinated by all the magic and it's just ... yeah.
Personally I prefer the third one. It's my favourite. I like Sirius Black a lot and the whole story around him. Also for once it's not a book about Voldermort but about Family and history. "Harry Potter und der Gefangene von Askarban" (as we call it in German) is definetly my favourite Harry Potter Book.

Bad days

Do you know when you know you had a REALLY bad day?

- When at half past one at night you need to wash your face with mineral water because the whole house seems to have no water, your parents are on holiday and your grandma is sick.

THEN you had a really bad day ...

i am a mental one (???)
I know I really should be in bed right no but I needed to write this down and I would have forgotten it by tomorrow.

Some things are just SO stupid. I was just in the bathroom washing my face when I was reading the print on the soap package and it read:
No to be eaten. May be used as soap.
I mean how stupid is this. Of course it may be used as soap, IT IS SOAP. Why would you bother writing this on soap?

Sam and Diane, Ross and Rachel, Chuck and Blair—who is your favorite TV couple?

View 508 Answers

Haven't we had that question before???
Well even though they never got to be a couple (or well at least they haven't up to now) it's clearly House and Wilson!
Followed by Brain&Justin, Big&Carrie, John&Aeryn, Ross&Rachel .... There's pretty much an endless list. I just can't decide. Love them all =P

I visited an old friend of mine a couple of days ago and discoverd she had one of these awesome skatching pads for the computer. Of course I had to try it out and made two drawings, showing two characters from Queer as Folk:  Brian and Justin

And yes I had a reference. I think they are not too bad for the first try (god it was so confusing drawing on the computer) and considering I haven't done much drawing since I went to NZ.

Writer's Block: Space Wars

Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Serenity, Alien, 2001—there is a long list of movies and TV shows that take place in space. Which is your favorite?

View 501 Answers

That one is easy: Farscape!
I loved it since I first started watching it. I remember it used to be on German Pay TV every day for a couple of months. They showed the first three seasons and I was desperate to see the last and fourth one, but until now I haven't. They never translated it into German and only showed it in Enlgish. I used to be not good enough to understand it, so I gave up. Now I have all the seasons on DvD as well as the final movie "Peacekeeper Wars" (which again got translated into German and I have seen on TV). I started watching them in English when I got back from NZ - now finding it  easy to understand - but still haven't got to the fourth season.

What else do I like? Star Trek - Next Generation, Voyager, Star Gate ...

I have seen a few episodes of Bettlestar Galactica but didn't really get it. That might be cause I just started watching it right in the middle of one of the season. So I might give it a go when I finished watching Farscape - and Queer as Folk which I need to finish too but has really nothing to do with space at all.

Writer's Block: Same Name

  • May. 18th, 2009 at 9:33 PM
Crazy

Have you ever met or known someone who has the same name as you (first and last) but is not a relative?

View 501 Answers

No I haven't met someone with my first and last name. I have met people with my first or last name though. I always find that really interesting, because both of them are not that common. Okay they are not quite what I would call unique but it's not like you meet someone called by one of them every day.
I know there is another person called like me though - several people actually. I googled my name once, just as you do and found like three people on facebook with the same name.
And there was an article about a woman with the same name. She got 496 DSL-routers delivered to her house by mistake. That really made me laugh.
Sooo .. Maybe one time I'll meet one of these people but I doubt any of them is a fantastic as I am :P

2009 the European Election

  • May. 11th, 2009 at 6:54 PM
i am who i am

2009 a year of change, a year of political importance, a year of elections – One would guess that given it is such an important year for all political parties there would be bloody fight out there. With very smart and very informative election campaigns. One would guess, that there would be politicians out there passing laws that are constructive and representative for the very basic thoughts of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany .... One would guess.

The reality indeed looks somewhat different: A bunch of insecure and anxious parties, that are only focused to get the majority in the upcoming elections. Only on focused on how to make the other parties look the least strong and the most ridiculous, while forgetting to be advocates of freedome, equality and the Basic Law - Forgetting the basic idea behind an election campaign: Trying to convince the people why exactly they are supposed to vote for them, getting them to understand what is going on in the politics at the moment, getting them to understand why it is important to vote, getting them to understand that the government and politics is not something done by some higher standing people not influenced and in your hand at all.

As Abraham Lincoln said: Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people. And this is what they should teach and try to achieve. This is what the should convince of us the are representatives of.

Instead of that we are getting election poster that claim use full things like: “Us in Europe”

What exactly is that supposed to tell us and why exactly is that meant to get me to vote for anyone. I am in Europe and I'm still going to be there, if I vote or not. Is that meant to tell me that I'm supposed to vote for them in the European Parliament election? It seems sort of obvious that this would be what every party wants from me and is still not telling me why exactly I'm supposed to do it. Does it mean that they are representing us in Europe? Well than I'm guessing they got something wrong, because I always thought that every party would have that task as soon as we vote them into the parliament.

Others try to attract us with simple paroles like: Europe-wide minimum wages, Freedom and Equality etc. That all seems a bit plain and minimalistic. I always thought that was what every party was trying to achieve? I thought it was about telling us how they would achieve things for us, how their plans look like and it actually means for me to get Europe-wide minimum wages.

But I guess telling me that they have plans is still better what again others parties seem to be doing. Looking at their election posters I'm not too sure whether or not they actually realised they are running an election campaign and not a very bad comedy show.

So we are getting to see sharks, hair dyers and coins as eye catchers accompanied by sayings like: “Hot air(hair dryer) would vote for 'Die Linken'”, “Financial-Sharks(hard to translate I hope you get the general idea) would vote for FDP” and “Dumpingwadges would vote for CDU”

That all sound very insecure and rather mean. Given that this is supposed to be a social party it only seems even more pathetic to me. Did they reach a point where they have nothing else to convince us with than salming others? I find that rather alarming. I do not want to be governed by a party that does not even know why they should be voted for.

Considering these lousy campaigns it does not surprise me that no one is actually interested in voting. I haven't ever heard one of them ever explaining why exactly it is important to vote, or explaining what is going on and why voting is useful for everyone. None of them ever told or explained to me what the European union is all about. So why should I be interested to vote for its parliament when I don't understand anything about it?

Would any of them make the effort and get people to know what it is all about, educate them about current events and affair in all honesty and convince people with plans and facts and for once be authentic I bet they would not even need to put up election posters. People would know that they are there for them. That they are there to help the people to form their own government and try to act for them as best as possible. People would know why they needed them and they would get their votes. They would crate a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

But then it seems like the Basic Law seems long forgotten and that people do not believe in freedom any longer – or how can it be that they are passing laws that approve of censorship, while making it compulsory to study English literature thematising dangers of that very thing. I can only assume they haven't ever read the books they make us read otherwise they would not even consider laws like this.

Closing websites and putting them on lists no one is allowed to inspect and without explaining why exactly they are forbidden. Without having to justify anything. That's censorship of the worst kind. There is no doubt that child pornography should be fought against and that it should be punished but not at the expense of freedom. Not by violating the basic law. Who stops them to ban websites they just don't like if there is no control? No justifying and secret lists? History has shown that getting control of the press and media by the government has always been the first step into the wrong direction. And Article 5 guarantees:

“Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing, and pictures and to inform himself without hindrance from generally accessible sources. Freedom of the press and freedom of reporting by means of broadcasts and films shall be guaranteed. There shall be no censorship.

So this is out of question. There is no turning around meanings and no playing with words. I know the next paragraph says: “These rights shall find their limits in the provisions of general laws, in provisions for the protection of young persons, and in the right to personal honour. “. But it's always the way it is done. It is the states duty to protect but not to control.

So what's the answer to all of this? I'm guessing all I can do is to use my right to vote and my right of petition. I have to inform myself even more and I have to share my thoughts ...
I might be wrong with all of this, and if this is they case I will admit it without hestitating but at least I'm honest and authentic. Something other people still have to learn
